Play with family
A small adventure. Everyone has a part.
A family photo scavenger hunt can be as simple as one phone and five things to spot. Let everyone help interpret the prompts, then take turns choosing and photographing a find. The activity can fit around a walk or a rainy afternoon.

Begin with a shared list
Working together removes the pressure to keep up with someone older or faster. Try finding something soft, a circle, a reflection, a pattern and two things of the same colour.
Let one person read the prompt, another choose the object and another take the photograph. These are roles you invent together, not a special team mode inside Seek.
Adjust the challenge without splitting the family
A broad prompt can work at different levels. For “something round”, one person might choose a plate while another notices a tiny screw head. Both can contribute.
If reading is difficult, say each prompt aloud. If walking is difficult, keep the hunt in one accessible room or along a short familiar route.
At home or on a walk
Indoors, choose everyday objects and avoid anything sharp, hot or fragile. Outdoors, stay together and photograph details without collecting plants or disturbing animals.
Agree when you will finish. You do not need to complete every prompt for the activity to have worked.
Using Seek as a family
An adult can lead the activity using the iPhone app. Check the current App Store age rating and supervise younger participants. These suggestions do not imply Seek has child accounts or parental controls.
Explorer offers untimed play. Today’s Daily Seek is free; additional hunts require Seek+. The free website generator is another option if you want a list to print and judge yourselves.
Questions before you play
Can we use one phone?
Yes, for a shared activity you can take turns with one adult-managed device. This is different from separate players joining an in-app multiplayer hunt.
Do we have to compete?
No. You can work through a list together, or use Explorer in Seek for untimed play.
Can I print a family hunt?
Yes. The free website generator has a print option and works without an account.
